What airport should I fly into?

ILM is located in Wilmington and from there you can easily get an Uber to downtown where the hotel is located. MYR (Myrtle Beach) is an easy hour drive from Wilmington and usually has more flight options if needed.

The hotel offers free shuttle service from ILM Airport. When you land please call 910-763-5900 and they will meet you outside the terminal.  (There is only one terminal)

 

Where should I book a room?

​

The reception is in Ocean Isle beach which offers a variety of rentals on Vrbo and Airbnb. Ubers are few and far between and a lot of rentals do not provide linens; but this may be a great option for our guests who are driving down. 

 

We have also booked a hotel block at Hotel Ballast in the heart of downtown Wilmington (1 hour from the wedding venue). There is plenty to do downtown and you can easily book an Uber or Lyft to explore the beaches or surrounding areas. 

 

Transportation will be provided from the Hotel Ballast to the wedding and back.

When should I book my accommodations?

​

The wedding falls on the same weekend as the University's graduation, so our hotel expects to be fully booked. We have 10 rooms available right now, but can add more as book up. Please contact morgans@hotelballast.com if you have any issues booking.

How should I get to the wedding?

​

The Hotel listed on our Accommodations page (The Hotel Ballast) will have one shuttle service to the ceremony/reception and one shuttle back to the hotel when the dancing is over.

 

If you are driving there is parking across the street from the venue.
